Your missions:

  • You will develop and maintain innovative solutions for public transport
  • The focus will be on enhancing our control center software for automated vehicle location (AVL), intermodal transport control system (ITCS) and electromobility applications
  • Software development will include analysis, design, implementation and testing for our international projects
  • Assuming responsibility for specific software modules and the integration into the overall system
  • You will work in close cooperation with the development and projects teams in the HQ in Germany
  • Applied technologies will be Java, JPA, Spring, REST, Maven and PostgreSQL

Your qualifications:

  • Third level qualification in Computer Science/Engineering or a related discipline
  • 4+ years’ industry experience with object-oriented software development based on Java
  • Experience in Java Persistence API and relational databases such as PostgreSQL would be a plus
  • High commitment, team spirit and motivation to assume responsibility in a Scrum development team 
  • Availability for occasional business travel to our HQ in Karlsruhe, Germany
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
