Your responsibilities:

  • Targeted acquisition including cold calling to win new customers and actively contribute to business development
  • Expansion and maintaining of contact networks to our current and potential clients and partners
  • Regular customer visits and active participation at trade fairs, conferences and customer events
  • Preparation of client meetings, presentations and other tasks to support the Business Development Manager in all sales matters
  • Coordinate the internal proposal process and provide detailed guidance to proposal contributors, subject matter experts and subcontractors
  • Track and ensure the fulfilment of the timely submission and deadlines
  • Preparation of quotations and offers as well as complex calculations
  • Close cooperation with affiliate teams within our headquarters in Karlsruhe, Germany

Your profile:

  • Degree in a business discipline or related field of study or relevant experience
  • First experience with sales, account management and/or proposal management
  • Desire to understand and learn new technologies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Able to collaborate effectively in a multinational environment
  • Excellent time management and planning skills
  • Solid experience in Microsoft Office products
  • Fluent in English; German language skills would be a plus
  • Availability for frequent business travel within Australia/New Zealand and to the headquarters in Germany from time to time
