Honor to
INIT SE
Awarded by
Kompetenzzentrum Technik-Diversity-Chancengleichheit e.V.
Our program “A Day in a Diverse IT Company”, offered as part of the nationwide Girls’Day initiative, has been officially recognized. This distinction not only acknowledges the successful implementation of our program, but above all highlights our commitment to inspiring young women to explore IT, technology, and innovation at an early stage.
Girls’Day is one of the most important career orientation initiatives for female students in Germany. Its goal is to give girls insights into professions in which women are still underrepresented—particularly in IT, engineering, and research. This award confirms that our contribution meets these objectives in a meaningful way and actively supports the promotion of equal opportunities.
At INIT, Girls’Day stands for: gaining insights, trying things out, shaping the future. Students have the opportunity to discover the diversity of our work at various stations throughout the company—from hardware and software to research. The focus is not only on observing, but above all on hands-on experience and exploration. The program is complemented by personal conversations with our employees, where questions about training, studies, and career paths are answered openly and practically.
The award also highlights our contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in the areas of quality education and gender equality. It demonstrates that, as a company, we take responsibility and actively contribute to making the IT industry more diverse and future-oriented.
