INIT employees on fire at ice stock competition

Freezing temperatures, icy surface to walk on – and still a heated up competition developed among the INIT employees at the ice stock competition taking place on the ice rink in front of the Karlsruhe Palace.

On 24 January 2017, many employees came together to have a try at the typical Bavarian winter sports, which is similar to curling. The employees competed against each other in teams and tried to get the ice stock as close as possbile to the target. Not that easy! Several times the stock crashed into the boundary and caused deep holes after having been thrown with too much enthusiasm. Nevertheless, the players improved their technique, so that fierce neck-and-neck competitions developed among the teams. A lot of fun for all participants!
