PROXmobile3 is INIT’s second device to be awarded the ITxPT label. This comes after the IT and communication platform COPILOTpc2 which was INIT’s first device to receive the label. The aim of the ITxPT initiative (Information Technology for Public Transport) is to develop specifications in order to enable open architecture, data accessibility and interoperability between IT systems. This includes creating appropriate frameworks in the various core systems and full plug-and-play compatibility of vehicle systems. INIT was among the founding partners, providing a substantial contribution through our expertise.
