Shaping the Future of Mobility – Together

Interview with Karoline

What is your name and what is your role at INIT?

My name is Karolina Jahrmarkt and I am the mum of a blended family which also includes our dog Henry. At INIT, I work as a process manager in the area of master data management and support my team in IT projects. As part of the ERP team, I was able to contribute to the successful GoLive of the new system at INIT this year. That was an insane project.

"Shaping the Future of Mobility" - What does that mean to you?

I worked in the automotive industry before INIT. This glossy world was fascinating and stylish, but I had increasingly begun to question the meaning of it. Then the right moment came along and I was able to switch to INIT. Here I realize how much more I enjoy working on solutions that benefit lots of people, instead of just a privileged few. I am not on the front line dealing with customers myself, but I can help make it easier for my colleagues to do their jobs.

#INITtogether - What does that mean for you?

Actually, anyone can be a part of INIT. Flexible working hours and an acceptance of individual circumstances and disabilities are not just an advertising slogan here, it’s genuine. This is what pushes me on to perform, because our motto is “One for all and all for one”.

Through customized public transport solutions we contribute to the transformation in public mobility.
