Nottingham City Transport (NCT)

NCT is a multi-award winning UK bus company with a fleet of 310 bio-gas vehicles. It is one of the principle operators in the East Midlands, running a comprehensive network of services mainly in the greater urban area of Nottingham. INIT has been working with NCT since 2006, having been awarded multiple contracts including RTPI, AVL, ticketing, planning and driver dispatching solutions.

The most recent project saw INIT implement contactless ticket payments so that passengers benefit from this quick and easy payment method. The result is shorter journey times, improved punctuality and means that passengers pay no more than an all day ticket price, no matter how many times they travel.
