York Region Transit (YRT)

YRT is the first Canadian agency to partner with INIT and Google to provide real-time bus location information to passengers through Google Maps. YRT partners with INIT for a complete ITS mobility system which provides benefits such as optimized performance of service, increased reliability and passenger safety. YRT provides service to over 23 million riders annually in Richmond Hill, Ontario and the surrounding region.
