INIT welcomed high-ranked visitors from the Emerald Isle

Karlsruhe  – June 15, 2023

Karlsruhe had high-ranking visitors from Ireland: Simon Coveney, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment of the Republic of Ireland, and Ireland’s ambassador to Germany Dr Nicolas O’Brien met with INIT representatives at INIT's headquarters on Käppelestrasse. The visit is part of a tour of Germany by Coveney, during which he is visiting companies that are successfully operating in Ireland.

Coveney and Dr O’Brien spoke with INIT board members Dr Jürgen Greschner and Matthias Kühn as well as with INIT Ireland General Manager Anthony Alexander and Executive Director Stefan Theilmann about INIT's current and future activities on the Emerald Isle.

Coveney and Dr O’Brien were accompanied by staff from the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment, IDA Ireland (the state agency responsible for attracting Foreign Direct Investment to Ireland) and Enterprise Ireland (responsible for the success of Irish companies abroad).

Fifth anniversary of INIT Ireland

INIT's branch in Maynooth, Ireland, near Dublin, recently celebrated its fifth anniversary. In the software development centre, around 25 employees currently serve INIT's growing English-speaking markets and support the Irish customers. A further expansion of the workforce is currently taking place.
